It's not about the calories. It's not about the carbs. It's not about the fat. It's about the nutritional value. What micro-nutrients are in it? What minerals? What vitamins? Celery has Riboflavin, Vitamin B6, Pantothenic Acid, Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorus, and is a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin K, Folate, Potassium and Manganese.
Almond butter (with nothing but organic almonds - no oils, sugars, preservatives, etc...) is incredibly high in protein, iron, Riboflavin, Magnesium and Manganese, and is a very good source of Vitamin E.
Together these two foods provide an incredible amount of vitamins, minerals, and other critical micro-nutrients, as well as calories, fat and protein.
